Von: Christian Denjean am 12.11.2007 Every time I start my computer, Symantec Norton tells me the file PIF::AlertEng.dll is  missing. What should I do? Thanks for advice.
Antwort 1 von nico ***** am 19.11.2007 Hi! It might be, that the Norton installation was corrupted, so you can re-install it again (AlertEng.dll) should be a Symantec file. But, your computer might also be infected with malware (a virus etc.) To be sure, you should scan the PC with another anti-virus program as www.free-av.com, and do a HiJackThis scan: You can download the program here: http://www.hijackthis.de/en. Please scan the computer with hijackthis and post the logfile in the box on their website and here for further help!
