I have a HP F380 photo printer, the problem is that when the printer goes offline(this just happens during a print request and it is not possibly to delete the printrequest it just stays in the file) I'am not able to get the printer online anymore. All I can do is install the printer again completly with a cd. But the next problem is I have changed systems from XP to Vista and the CD will work for Vista. I have already downloaded the new drivers, but now I have to do it again. HP cannot help me.
So can someone else help me please?

With kind regards,

Ann-Jo Proos

Bonsoir Smiley

So the printer worked wine with Win XP but now is making problem with Vista, even when you have the new Vista drivers installed?

I have just searched arround a bit, discovering that there are more people having problems with this printer:

On the HP.com site of the printer it says_

Restarting the print spooler service may do it.  Have F380, occasionally hangs when trying to delete documents in queue. Can't hurt.
Go to Control Panel> Administrative Services> Services.  Click on list and scroll down to Print Spooler.  The service description in the upper right of the window will offer a restart option.  Just click it.
